This is a top-down, tactical shooter that forces you to study your opponents carefully, use cover to your advantage, jump down off the top of trains, and conceal yourself in tumbleweeds and haystacks. Try that in Desperados 3 and you’ll be buried in the sand by sundown. Most games that try to replicate the showdown at the old cay coral put the six-shooter in your hand and encourage you to shoot first, ask questions later.
Desperados 3 offers an entirely different take on the wild west and it’s massively refreshing.
